CoSN Board Nominations 2022

Help shape the future of education technology and CoSN by nominating a representative (or yourself) for the CoSN Board of Directors. CoSN Board members are elected for three-year terms. By offering your skills as a leader, you guide our mission and inform our decision making. This year, we are electing 4 Institutional members and 1 Corporate member. Nominations are due by Friday October 8 at midnight in advance of the winter CoSN Board Election.

Nomination Process
Applications are due Friday October 8, 2021.  Applicants will be notified of their status the week of October 18th.  If you are selected as part of the candidate slate, you will be asked to take part in a 2-3 minute video interview with the Nominations Committee chair.

Candidate Criteria
Candidates must be CoSN members in good standing.  CoSN values diversity and some criteria that the nominations committee looks at is the diversity of the board, including but not limited to race, gender, geographical location, and student enrollment. The nominations committee will consider these as well as a host of other criteria when selecting the nominees. Our current board members are listed here. 

Responsibilities
If elected, applicants must be able to participate in three Board meetings each year. We are planning for a face to face Board Meeting in April 2022 at the CoSN Annual Conference and travel support will be provided, assuming we can gather.
