    Happy Friday COSN community.
I have been asked to research some VR systems for high school classroom use. We are a 1:1 chrome book district. Teachers have windows laptops. Is anyone currently using something that works well? I have been asked that from an instructional side we only consider a system that would allow use of 3D videos and other free resources. We will probably not have money to purchase subscriptions every year. Thanks in advance for your input and advice.

I recently received a similar request.  Any insights and experience are appreciated.

We use a generic form of a Google Cardboard and a lot of the apps. We typically ask students to use their phones but have 4-5 iPhones that were donated to the school for those that don't have them. This held us off for about a year or so but now we're getting to the point that the iPhones aren't upgradable so we're starting to get limited. Also, the Cardboards are actually made from cardboard and are getting a little beat up. I'm trying to get the district to look at dedicated headsets but these are expensive. The Lenovo version works with the Daydream apps (Google) and would work with our needs. But obviously, these are a bit more expensive. We also recently purchased a 360 camera but to edit any videos we'll need software like the newest Adobe Premiere.
